Setting up your email on both mobile and desktop devices can enhance your productivity by ensuring you have access to your emails wherever you are. When configuring email, you will encounter two main protocols: IMAP and POP3. IMAP is recommended for most users because it synchronises your emails across multiple devices, allowing you to access your emails from anywhere and see the same email status, whether read or unread, across all devices. POP3, on the other hand, downloads emails to a single device and removes them from the server, which can limit access if you need to check emails from multiple locations.
